How to start a Zodiac Trials run
Look for Zodiac Trials in the lobby’s mode selection. The November 2 gameplay recording shows a Nightmare run in progress. It does not show the entry requirements, so read the lobby panel for your chosen difficulty and party before queueing.
The raid HUD shows six areas. Area 3 in the recording has a two-wave counter and an enemy count. Use those counters to see whether the current wave has ended and wait for the on-screen prompt before moving to the next objective.
What the Zodiac Wheel changes
The recording shows an instruction to reach the first Zodiac Wheel after Area 2 clears, followed by a prompt to spin it. Read the result on screen. It can change the enemies you meet as well as the boss that appears.
| Sign in the recording | What the footage shows | How to respond |
|---|---|---|
| Dragon | The wheel announces Dragon, and Dragon Warriors appear in the kill feed. | Check how the new enemies group up before committing your area attack. |
| Pig | The result announces the Great Pig as the boss. | Watch its first attack and keep a safe move ready until you recognize an opening. |
Prepare for waves and practice the boss timing
- Use an attack that reaches groups for the waves. Keep another skill ready for a boss so your whole rotation is not on cooldown after the last pack.
- The creator describes timed parries as a way to break posture and open a damage window. Try one attack cue at a time. When you see an opening you can repeat, save your strongest cast for it.
- In a group, agree when to commit long attacks. If someone is learning the boss cue, let them call the opening so the party can attack together.
How to check for Frost Heron and Artifacts
Frost Heron appears as a selectable fighter in the creator’s Artifacts panel. The creator reports that Frost Heron comes from a Nightmare Zodiac Trials clear. The recording does not show the final loot screen, so it does not establish a drop rate, pity counter or availability on other difficulties.
The same narration names Zodiac Trials among the Artifact sources. Look at the reward preview on your difficulty and compare it with the items shown after a full clear. If you are comparing farming routes, record the time and actual rewards of each clear, including time spent forming a party.
