Find Matilda, open Trait Reroll, and use the arrows to select the fighter you intend to change. The Trait Index shows what each roll can do. Set a spending limit and pick a few effects you would keep before replacing the trait on a fighter you already use.

How to reroll a trait
- Find Matilda in the lobby. October 2026 gameplay labels her Enchanter and shows the Trait Reroll panel.
- Use the fighter arrows and check the selected name and existing trait. Rerolling can replace that fighter’s current trait.
- Open the Index and read the effect, displayed chance, and any target controls for the traits you want. Check your balance and the price shown in the reroll panel.
- Start with a single roll if the menu is unfamiliar. Stop when you hit your spending limit or roll one of the effects you chose to keep.
Which traits should you keep?
Pick a trait for the activity you repeat most. A shorter cooldown can matter more than a larger hit if it lets you use a key skill twice in one fight. For a farming setup, compare rewards from completed runs as well as how long those runs take.

How to read trait odds, targeting, and pity counters
The October 6 Index displayed Ferocity and Sniper at 0.04% each, and Supernova and Deadeye at 0.01% each. These figures come from dated gameplay. Use the live Index for the odds shown on your server.
The recording shows a targeting prompt and counters beside rare traits. Check what the current panel says about when a counter advances, what it guarantees, and whether changing a target affects it. Keep your budget independent of any behavior the panel leaves unclear.
Where to check for more Trait Rerolls
Check current code rewards and the in-game reward preview. The October 16 Trait Reroll screen calls the currency Enchant Crystals. Check whether a reward increases your reroll balance before planning another session. Fighter summon spins use a separate balance.
