Anime Zero Shadow Gate Raid and Shadow Monarch Guide

To get Shadow Monarch (Sung Jinwoo), open Shadow Gate Act 1 and look for the fighter on the Nightmare reward card. In the Throne of the Red Knight, clear Igris’s guards while the boss is immune and save your strongest single-target attack for when he can take damage again.

How to enter Shadow Gate and get Shadow Monarch

  • Open Create Lobby, pick Shadow Gate, and select the Act 1 Raid. The October gameplay shows Nightmare selected and the other difficulty buttons unavailable.
  • Before you start, inspect the Rewards row and the pity counter on the raid card. If Start is unavailable, read the current entry message and check whether the raid shows a cooldown or an attempt limit.
  • Bring a build with an area attack for guards and a reliable attack for the boss. If you keep losing solo, try a party and agree to switch targets together when the immunity label appears.
  • Defeat Igris and wait for the results screen. Check whether the fighter dropped and look at the live raid counter before starting another run.

How to beat Igris in the Throne of the Red Knight

The raid opens with an instruction to clear the honour guard while the boss bar reads “Igris [IMMUNE]”. Use area attacks on the guards and watch the enemy count to catch anyone your first rotation missed.

During the boss fight, keep a dash or quick movement skill available if you need to leave an attack area. When immunity returns, read the objective and clear the active enemies it calls for. A player walkthrough shows a later clone alongside smaller enemies. Check the objective before committing your next cooldown to the clone.

Red Gates, raid pity, and material rewards

A Red Gate can open during a run. MK’s October footage shows a warning and the red arena while the guard phase is still active. Read the new objective, give yourself room to dodge, and finish the active enemies before returning to Igris.

Historical footage shows a pity counter on the Nightmare raid card. Use the current counter and reward preview to plan repeat clears. The October reports give different thresholds, and the public Roblox listing does not publish a current rate or guarantee.

October materials coverage lists Shadow Essence, a crest for Igris, Shadow’s Cloak and Monarch’s Blessing among Shadow Gate rewards. If you already have the fighter, compare the current reward cards with your next Evolution recipe to see which materials you can earn here.

How to evolve Shadow Monarch and unlock the Igris summon

Once you have Sung Jinwoo, select him in Evolution and open Shadow Monarch Path. The October Evolution panel shows a Path tab for his stages and a separate Igris tab for summon upgrades. Use the Requirements panel to check your next stage and reserve the specific materials it asks for.
